Every February between 2000 (when we started U Hold The Key) and 2007, regular as the seasons people would start moving house and booking container storage and our occupancies would go up...

It may have taken us a while to get there but the logic of offering the same level of service that our self-storage customers have come to expect to container hires has eventually dawned...

It’s quite surprising how seasonal self-storage can be.  We always find that we have quite a few keys handed back to us just before Christmas as people try to get into some sort of order for the big day or use it an opportunity to get all of those boxes unpacked that didn’t get unpacked after the house move earlier in the year...

The recession sure hit the housing market and like all other storage companies we’ve had to keep on our toes as there have been less house-move customers to go around in the past four years...

So you consider what it is that you want to store - stock, household items etc. - and you work out how many square feet that is likely to take then you get on the phone to U Hold The Key and you book your store in Newcastle or Grantham or Durham...
